Our customers who choose to install solar water heaters are not only saving money on their utility bills, but also minimizing their contribution to climate change and smog.  Solar water heating makes sense both for your wallet and for the air you breathe – a win-win situation.  We will provide you with a free estimate – simply tell us what you are looking for!

Depending on the difficulty of installation and the system size, our systems typically cost between $6000 and $8000 for residential systems with a payback of 6 to 12 years.  Currently, there are $2500 of Government rebates available through the EcoEnergy For Homes program,   as well as a retail sales tax rebate.  Our systems are low maintenance and have a lifespan of about 25 years, providing you with free energy for a long time.  Goldwater Solar can also design a solar water heater for your swimming pool that will pay for itself in energy savings in just a few years.

Our solar water heater system consists of 4 main components including a solar collector, a solar storage tank, a controller, and a pump.  The size of the collector and the storage tank depends on your hot water consumption (usually determined by the number of household occupants).
